State v. Farris

In State v. Farris, 109 Ohio St.3d 519, 2006 Ohio 3255, 849 N.E.2d 985, the court followed Moore and held that a "trunk and a passenger compartment of an automobile are subject to different standards of probable cause to conduct searches." Id. at P51. Farris, specifically, held that the search authorized by Moore was not extended beyond the passenger compartment to the trunk of the car.
