Gribble v. State

In Gribble v. State, 808 S.W.2d 65, 72 (Tex. Crim. App. 1990), the defendant confessed to killing the victim and showed the police where he concealed the body. The Court determined that discovery of the victim in an uninhabited area wearing only a robe, of her purse in a lake, and of no signs of struggle at her home corroborated Gribble's admission to the kidnaping element of the charged capital murder offense.
