In In re Protection of H.W., 85 S.W.3d 348, 357-58 (Tex. App.--Tyler 2002, no pet.), the reviewing court held the trial court did not abuse its discretion in permitting the State to reopen after the close of evidence. Although the State failed to show due diligence in offering the expert testimony, the one week delay was not unreasonable and no injustice was shown.
