In Calfee v. Calfee, 29 Va. App. 88, 509 S.E.2d 552 (1999), the Court reiterated that "a decree or order of the circuit court emanating from a 'suit for divorce,' after displacing the jurisdiction of the JDRC, may be transferred to such court for enforcement or related matters, thereby restoring concurrent jurisdiction in both courts, without impairing the properly invoked exercise of jurisdiction by the circuit court over the transferred issues."
