Banta v. Superior Court

In Banta v. Superior Court, 112 Ariz. 544, 545, 544 P.2d 653, 654 (1976), the Arizona Supreme Court considered a motion to compel the discovery of information from expert medical witnesses regarding their patients. The court concluded the motion went "beyond the scope of proper discovery" because it was "not relevant to the standard of care" to which the experts would be testifying. Id.
