In A to Z Portion Meats, Inc. v. NLRB, 643 F.2d 390, 393 (6th Cir.1980) (On Motion for Clarification) (1981), the Court held that an inference of prior knowledge, based solely on the Board's disbelief of an employer's stated reasons for the discharge, is not an inference supported by substantial evidence and is tantamount to compelling the company to disprove prior knowledge.
