Brezenoff v. State

In Brezenoff v. State, 658 P.2d 1359, 1363-64 (Alaska App. 1983) the Court ruled that a court may not delegate to a probation officer the decision regarding the total amount of restitution owed. Therefore, Judge Link altered this condition to provide that the court would set the appropriate amount of restitution. Moreover, Judge Link found that specifying that this change did not impose a more severe sentence than the terms of the plea agreement.
