In Ratliff v. State, 798 P.2d 1288 (Alaska App. 1990) the Court affirmed the defendant's 10-year term for second-degree murder. After drinking alcoholic beverages and smoking marijuana, Ratliff drove on the wrong side of a divided highway and collided with another car, killing the driver. Id. at 1289.
