State v. Couch

In State v. Couch, 991 P.2d 1286 (Alaska App. 1999), the Court stated: Criminal Rule 35(b) is designed to allow a sentencing judge to reconsider and potentially reduce a criminal sentence for a limited period of time. It is not designed to work in conjunction with Criminal Rule 53 to allow a sentencing judge an unlimited period of time to modify a sentence. (Id. at 1289)
