Can a California Judge Reconsider Another Judge's Bail ?

In In re Alberto (2002) 102 Cal.App.4th 421, the Court concluded that one judge cannot reconsider another judge's bail determination absent a showing either: (1) of changed circumstances relating to the defendant or the proceedings; (2) that the first judge is unavailable; or; (3) that the first order was made through inadvertence mistake or fraud. (Id. at p. 430.) In In re Alberto, there was no such showing.
