People v. Reed (2000)

In People v. Reed (2000) 78 Cal.App.4th 274, the court upheld felony false imprisonment convictions. The court emphasized that "All three victims were directed, at gunpoint, to get down and stay down on the floor. At various times during the robbery, the gun was placed against each woman's head and used to pistol whip the man. The women both believed they were going to be killed by their intruders." ( Id. at p. 281.)
