Relative Value Studies, Inc. v. McGraw-Hill, Co

In Relative Value Studies, Inc. v. McGraw-Hill, Co., 981 P.2d 687 (Colo. App. 1999), a Denver district court judge granted summary judgment in a case after he no longer lived in the City and County of Denver. The Court recognized that, although the judge, in violation of the Colorado Constitution, had moved outside the district in which he was elected, he was a de facto judge because when he had entered the judgment he was still serving as a district court judge.
