State v. Borrelli

In State v. Borrelli, 227 Conn. 153, 163, 629 A.2d 1105 (1993), the Court held that expert testimony concerning battered woman's syndrome was not scientific because it was based on the expert's "observations of a large number of battered women through the lens of his educational background and experience" and that the purpose of the testimony was "to provide an interpretation of the facts."
