In State v. Damon, 214 Conn. 146, 156-57, 570 A.2d 700, cert. denied, 498 U.S. 819 (1990) the Court found it within the trial court's discretion to admit an autopsy report. In upholding the trial court's determination, the Court looked to the testimony concerning the three requirements that must be established before a document will be allowed into evidence under the business record exception to the hearsay rule, and to "the nature of the document itself, which was a report derived from established routine procedures designed to record objective facts and observations . . . ." Id., at 157.
