State v. Schaeffer

In State v. Schaeffer, 5 Conn. App. 378, 390, 498 A.2d 134 (1985), the Court addressed the voluntariness of a plea when the defendant's plea was accepted and subsequently rejected at sentencing. Id., at 380. In this context, the Court determined that it was improper for the trial court to fail to inform the defendant pursuant to Practice Book 697, now 39-9, and for the sentencing court to fail to inform the defendant pursuant to Practice Book 698, now 39-10. Id., at 387-91.
