In Statewide Grievance Committee v. Botwick, 226 Conn. 299, 301 n.4, 627 A.2d 901 (1993), the Court held that the trial court infringed the defendant's due process right to notice in an attorney grievance proceeding when the court found that the defendant violated the Rules of Professional Conduct based on a transaction wholly unrelated to the allegations contained in the presentment.
