Stern v. Medical Examining Board

In Stern v. Medical Examining Board, 208 Conn. 492, 545 A.2d 1080 (1988) stated: "In the administrative context, a proper claim for relief serves the equally vital function of establishing the jurisdictional authority of the tribunal. . . . Just recently, we held that the existence of an employee-employer relationship is a jurisdictional fact that must be shown in order to proceed with a claim for workers' compensation benefits. Id., 427-35.
