Strobel v. Strobel

In Strobel v. Strobel, 73 Conn. App. 428, 434, 808 A.2d 698, cert. granted, 262 Conn. 930, 814 A.2d 383 (2002), the Court concluded that a temporary order regarding visitation was not immediately appealable because the order was issued in response to an "emergency" situation and thus was "akin to an ex parte order of temporary custody, not a temporary order." The Court has granted certification to appeal, limited to the following issue: "Did the Appellate Court properly dismiss this appeal for lack of a final judgment?" Strobel v. Strobel, 262 Conn. 930, 814 A.2d 383 (2002).
