Elpers v. Johnson

In Elpers v. Johnson, Ky., 386 S.W.2d 267 (1965), the circuit court entered a judgment, in accordance with the jury verdict, finding the defendant liable for damages. However, on the same day, a second judgment notwithstanding the verdict in favor of Elpers was entered. The appellate court reversed and directed the circuit court to enter a judgment according to the jury's verdict. The new judgment ordered Elpers to pay interest from the date of the original judgment in favor of the plaintiffs, and the appellate court affirmed on appeal.
