The "Erie Shuffle" is a procedural mechanism that allows the Court to acquire the authority to adjudicate constitutional components of tax claims over which we already have proper jurisdiction. See Erie Mining Co., 343 N.W.2d at 264; Wilson v. Commissioner of Revenue, 619 N.W.2d 194, 199-200 (Minn. 2000).
