Adams v. Oregon State Police

In Adams v. Oregon State Police, 289 Ore. 233, 611 P.2d 1153 (1980), the court held that the discovery rule applies to the 180-day period for giving tort claim notice as well as the two-year statute of limitations. 289 Ore. at 239. The court did not hold that the fact that a plaintiff gives a tort claim notice necessarily means that the statute of limitations also starts to run.
