Crosby v. Minyard Food Stores, Inc

In Crosby v. Minyard Food Stores, Inc., 122 S.W.3d 899 (Tex. App.-Dallas 2003, no pet.), the plaintiff sued the defendant for injuries sustained after she tripped on a mat at the front entrance of a grocery store. Id. at 900 The plaintiff presented evidence that the store's mat had a tendency to buckle and required frequent straightening. Id. at 901. The evidence also revealed that the defendant knew the mat's frequent buckling had caused other customers to fall. Id.
