Farr v. State (1975)

In Farr v. State, 519 S.W.2d 876 (Tex. Crim. App. 1975), the 17-year-old defendant testified without contradiction that one officer reached through the rear window of the patrol car and began "slapping and choking" him while he was restrained from behind by manacles. The defendant also testified without contradiction that a second officer told defendant he might as well confess because the first officer would kill defendant and "likes doing stuff like this." Farr, 519 S.W.2d at 878. Finally, the defendant testified without contradiction that the second officer was brought into the interrogation room just before he signed his confession and that the second officer told the defendant to sign or else he would bring the first officer back.
