Act. School Bd. v. Arline

In Act. School Bd. v. Arline, 480 U.S. 273, 279, 107 S.Ct. 1123, 1126, 94 L.Ed.2d 307 (1987), the Court stated that Arline's tuberculosis was an impairment significant enough to require hospitalization, "a fact more than sufficient to establish that one or more of her major life activities were seriously limited." Id. Thus, Arline's hospitalization was evidence establishing a record of impairment under the statute. Id.
