In Bonanno v. Bonanno, 148 Vt. 248, 251, 531 A.2d 602 (1987), the trial court failed to provide information on why certain insufficiencies rendered a custody evaluation report's recommendation invalid. Id. at 251, 531 A.2d at 604. The Court held that the evaluation report was not the sole basis for the court's conclusion, and that the report was just one factor considered in making its custody award. Id.
