Gus' Catering, Inc. v. Menusoft Systems

In Gus' Catering, Inc. v. Menusoft Systems, 171 Vt. 762 A.2d 804, 807 (2000), the Court denied the purchaser of defective computer software its claims for lost business profits, customers, and time, stating, "plaintiff sought damages for not having received the benefit of the bargain to which it believed it was entitled, and such a loss of its disappointed commercial expectations is not recoverable under our negligence law."
