In West v. Zeibell, 87 Wn.2d 198, 201, 550 P.2d 522 (1976), the Court held the Act precluded the parents of a deceased worker from bringing a wrongful death action based upon the death of the child. Such an action, although it ostensibly concerned the independent harm suffered by the parents, was held to derive from the injury to the worker. West, 87 Wn.2d at 201-03.
