Meadows v. Meadows

In Meadows v. Meadows, 196 W.Va. 56, 59, 468 S.E.2d 309, 312 (1996), the Court explained that a circuit court's ruling on the admissibility of testimony is reviewed under an abuse of discretion standard. However, "to the extent a circuit court's ruling turns on an interpretation, meaning, or scope of the statute or a rule of evidence our review is de novo." Id.
