In Meek v. State, 2002 WY 1, 37 P.3d 1279, 1284 (Wyo. 2002), on the morning of trial, the State requested permission to amend the information to change the controlled substance at issue from methamphetamine to cocaine. Id. Despite having concerns regarding the late filing of the motion, the Court found no error in permitting the amendment because there was no prejudice to Mr. Meek. Id.
