Rigler v. State

In Rigler v. State, 941 P.2d 734, 736 (Wyo. 1997), the Court considered the argument that the trial court failed to follow the correct procedure by neglecting to articulate its reasons for finding that the probative value of the evidence outweighed the prejudicial effect of such evidence. The Court held that the trial court's finding that, "although the evidence was obviously prejudicial to Appellant, it was not unfairly prejudicial and that the probative value of the evidence outweighed the danger of unfair prejudice" was sufficient.
